Organized largely by dedicated volunteers within local Python communities, PyCons take place globally, acting as vibrant hubs for Python enthusiasts.

Notably, Uganda hosted its inaugural PyCon in 2023, marking a significant milestone for the local Python community.

What is PyCon Uganda?

PyCon Uganda is one of the Python Conferences you can attend in East Africa. The talk is about Python applications in data, web, and other domains. This is a platform where Python users, developers, library developers, and companies that use Python come together. This will be the second PyCon Conference in Uganda!

The talks often include new features of the Python language, new libraries, security, testing, Data science and engineering, web programming, and software engineering in general.

The conference will feature presentations focusing on several topics around Python.
